Canine Maverick policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Canine Maverick is an independent UK dog-owner education website operated by Conor Dwyer. This policy explains what information may be processed when you visit the site, contact us, use a free resource or follow an external link.
Information processed to operate the website
Hostinger and security systems may process IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referral source and diagnostic logs to deliver, secure and maintain the service. These records may be retained for a limited period for security, fault investigation and legal compliance.
Information you provide
If you email info@caninemaverick.com, the contact details and message you provide are used to answer your enquiry, keep an appropriate record and protect the site’s legitimate interests. Do not send veterinary records, payment details or special-category personal information through ordinary email. Canine Maverick does not sell personal information.
Google advertising and consent
Canine Maverick intends to use Google AdSense to fund free owner education. Subject to the choices presented by Google’s certified consent-management platform, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalise advertising, prevent fraud and understand ad performance. Users in the UK, EEA and Switzerland are shown choices before consent-dependent advertising storage or personalisation is used.
Read Google’s Business Data Responsibility information and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Affiliate and external services
Amazon and other external sites receive the normal technical information associated with following a link and apply their own privacy and cookie policies. Affiliate links are identified and do not change the price paid by the reader.
Lawful basis, retention and rights
Depending on the activity, processing is based on consent, legitimate interests, contract or legal obligation. UK users may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email info@caninemaverick.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changing advertising consent
When Google’s consent message is active, this control reopens it so you can change or withdraw your choice.
